On December 4, 2024, the Academic Club of the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University, will organize an academic seminar titled “Thailand’s Way Out Through a People’s Constitution” at the 50th Anniversary Conference Room.
The event will feature academics, civil society representatives, and politicians discussing the feasibility of moving beyond the 2017 Constitution. Speakers will include:
- Prof. Dr. Maleenee Koomsoopa, Head of the Department of Politics and Government, Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University.
- Chatchai Thammo, Secretary-General of the Northern NGO-Coordinating Committee on Development (NGO-COD).
- Parit Wacharasindhu, Chair of the House Committee on Political Development, Mass Communications, and Public Participation.
