UTD RF Technology Pilot Plant for Insect and Insect Egg Disinfestation

The UTD RF Technology Pilot Plant (Uniform Thermal Distribution of Radio Frequency Technology Pilot Plant) is a project under the Science and Technology Park, Chiang Mai University (STeP). This project utilizes Radio Frequency (RF) Technology and applies it to agricultural produce. The core objective is to solve the problem of insects and insect eggs in milled rice by using radio frequency waves that cause molecular vibration. This process, known as Uniform Thermal Distribution of Radio Frequency (UTD RF), effectively eliminates insects and their eggs throughout their lifecycle in the rice without the use of chemicals. The Pilot Plant is located at the Northern Science Park Management Building (Chiang Mai Province).
CMU Coffee
