CMU Vice President Opens Knowledge Exchange Workshop for Northern Regional Coordination Centers under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Winita Boonyodom, Vice President of Chiang Mai University (CMU), presided over the opening of a knowledge exchange workshop among the network of Coordination Centers under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative (Northern Region Coordination Centers). The workshop was held at Moose Hotel on 8–9 September 2026.

The workshop brought together representatives from the Northern Regional Coordination Centers to exchange knowledge, experiences, and approaches to the implementation of plant genetic resource conservation initiatives. The event provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among the network and promote the continued conservation and sustainable utilization of plant genetic resources in the Northern region.

チェンマイ大学副学長、王室主導植物遺伝資源保全プロジェクト北部地域連携センターの知識交流ワークショップを開会

チェンマイ大学（Chiang Mai University: CMU）のAssoc. Prof. Dr. Winita Boonyodom副学長は、王室主導植物遺伝資源保全プロジェクト（Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative）北部地域連携センター（Northern Regional Coordination Centers）のネットワークによる知識交流ワークショップの開会式に出席しました。本ワークショップは、2026年9月8～9日にMoose Hotelの会議室で開催されました。

本ワークショップには、北部地域の各連携センターの関係者が参加し、植物遺伝資源の保全に関する知識、経験、活動の実施方法について意見交換を行いました。また、各機関・センター間の連携をさらに強化するとともに、北部地域における植物遺伝資源の継続的な保全と持続可能な活用を推進するための交流の場となりました。
