Office of Research Administration, Chiang Mai University, Welcomes Kagawa University Representative for Research Management Knowledge Exchange
The Office of Research Administration, Chiang Mai University (CMU), welcomed Mr. Miyawaki Takuya, a representative from Kagawa University, Japan, during his visit to Chiang Mai University to observe research administration practices and exchange knowledge and experiences in research management.
The visit was welcomed by Professor Dr. Apinaphat Rujivat, Director of the Office of Research Administration, together with the Office’s staff members. On this occasion, the Director introduced the Office’s roles, missions, vision, and overall organizational structure, providing an overview of its responsibilities and operations in supporting and administering research at Chiang Mai University.
As part of the study visit, Mr. Miyawaki will engage in knowledge and experience exchange with staff members from various divisions of the Office of Research Administration. The program provides an opportunity to learn about the Office’s operational practices, exchange perspectives on research administration, and gain insights into the management and support of research activities.
The visit also aims to foster professional exchanges and strengthen the collaborative relationship between Chiang Mai University and Kagawa University, paving the way for future cooperation in research administration and related areas.
The study visit and knowledge exchange program is being held from 26 August to 7 September 2026.
チェンマイ大学研究管理室、香川大学からの訪問者を迎え、研究マネジメントに関する知識・経験を共有
チェンマイ大学（Chiang Mai University: CMU）のOffice of Research Administration（研究管理室）は、日本の香川大学から来学した宮脇拓也氏を迎え、研究管理および研究支援に関する業務について視察・意見交換を行っています。
今回の訪問では、Office of Research AdministrationのDirectorであるアピナパット・ルチワット教授（Professor Dr. Apinaphat Rujivat）をはじめ、研究管理室の職員が宮脇氏を歓迎しました。
意見交換では、アピナパット教授からOffice of Research Administrationの役割、ミッション、ビジョン、組織体制の概要について説明が行われ、チェンマイ大学における研究支援および研究管理の体制や業務について理解を深める機会となりました。
今回の視察では、宮脇氏がOffice of Research Administrationの各担当部署の職員とともに、それぞれの業務内容や実務について学び、研究管理に関する経験や知見を共有します。これにより、双方の研究管理に関する理解を深め、実務面での交流を促進することを目指しています。
また、本プログラムを通じて、チェンマイ大学と香川大学との職員間の交流を促進するとともに、研究管理および関連分野における今後の連携・協力関係をさらに強化することが期待されます。
今回の視察・交流プログラムは、2026年8月26日から9月7日まで実施されます。
